Working Towards a Better Tomorrow

Recently Peter was rushed to hospital critically ill by ambulance at 4am! He was rushed to the Lyell McEwin Hospital and into the critically ill rooms! (Editor: Sunday 27th)
The doctors came out and informed me “That either way he will die”. I replied “God is with you, and will bring us through this”, to the doctors. I went in and told Peter “We love you; God is protecting you”. He nodded and raised his arm. Rang all family and friends and asked them to pray for us; even a church in Victoria prayed with us.
Today (Editor: Monday 28th) 4am he had the breathing tubes taken out, and he was sitting up wide awake and waiting for me!
Tonight he had the nasal tube out and maybe moving to a ward tomorrow. (Editor: Tuesday 29th) The power of prayer! Praise the Lord!

I had the opportunity to spend a few hours at the hospital with Sandra and some of the family on Sunday – especially when they received the news that Peter would most likely not pull through this journey. Then to watch how fast God works at times and amazes the highly skilled Doctors and Medical experts. I have to rejoice with Sandra and family as they see God at hand. Thank you too to Glenys for the support she has given to Sandra. I continue to celebrate how often God uses the most unlikely people in many situations.
